Assessing Credit for Life Experience

Students wishing to receive credit for their "life experience" must make a formal request to the Dean. A Life Experience Essay will be required for persons who receive Advanced Standing for Life Experience Credits. The essay will entail several chapters detailing the nature of the student's experiences.

Essays will be submitted electronically to the school via upload, or using the schools journaling console. The Dean will assign a faculty member who will guide the student in preparation for their Essay.

CHAPTER ONE

Includes a description of the students experiences. The student is required to provide a chronology of the relevant activities by submitting dates, times, places and specific experiences under consideration.

CHAPTER TWO

The student will describe goals, objectives, purpose and mission of the essay. Include the start date and why it was considered.

CHAPTER THREE

The student should include reference letters, certificates, journals, video and audio samples, interviews, programs and any supporting information to be considered.

CHAPTER FOUR

Include an annotated bibiliography of influences, books, reference guides and other resources that have contributed to the students life.
